Robert Wegmann, a long time fixture in the local Tampa music community, expresses himself in more than just music. Musically Robert has produced over seven solo CDs as well as performing and producing on several other projects. He worked as a comic book illustrator for a year with Millennium Comics and has spent many years working in the printing and publishing industry. He currently works for Vigo/Alessi Foods as their on staff photographer and designer and works for SBC SignWorks as a graphic designer.
Artistically Wegmann is an accomplished illustrator and has recently begun oil painting on canvass. His current project is a collection of paintings featuring interpretations of iconic, pop-culture rock, jazz and film legends. He is also working on his latest CD entitled, Keeper of the Bees.
Robert Wegmann was born here in Tampa and currently resides in beautiful, artistic, Seminole Heights. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of South Florida where he graduated in 1986. He received his A.A. from the Hillsborough Community College prior to attending USF.
