Bio
It wasn’t until the mid 80’s when I started to pick up a camera. My inspiration at the time was an image by photographer Harvey Edwards, named Leg Warmers. I started working with an old Ricoh KR-5. I spent some time at the Colorado Institute of Art. It was informative however it lacked anything of substance for me. Shortly after I left the Institute, I began working as a Darkroom Technician. I started having shows at local Denver coffee shops like Muddy’s and the local landmark, Paris on the Platte.

In the late 90’s I moved to Illinois and had the privilege of having Dennis Kendall Hall, the assistant of the late Imogen Cunningham as my neighbor. We collaborated on several projects, and continue to work together to this day.

I am currently working on new images and paintings in Tampa, Florida, were I reside. I hope to show these images in upcoming shows.

Influences:
Robert Frank, Edward Weston, Man Ray, Georgia O’Keeffe, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Eugene smith, Sarah Moon and Paul Strand.
